Overview:
Northern Rye bakery was born in 2017 in the founders home kitchen. Many years of success followed and Northern Rye gained a highly esteemed reputation, winning countless regional and national awards. The NR identity started life as a DIY creation and no longer aligned with the stature of the business. As they were about to embark on a phase of huge business growth, it was time to move the brand into a premium space and give it the spotlight it deserved.
Approach:
Preserving and building on NR’s esteemed reputation and established ground was key and bringing valued customers, with an unparalleled love for the NR product, on a journey of growth was incredibly important. Not only did we want to level up the brand but we wanted to create a platform for further growth. Together we identified the brand strengths and the future ambition of the business.
Results:
Investing time and resource into the brand propelled the business forward. Clearly defining the ‘what’ and the ‘where’ of the new physical locations meant customers awareness and loyalty remained. A refreshed brand, beaming with confidence, cemented a prestigious new store location. Sales are up. New and old customers are happy and continue to sing the praises of their favourite bakery. Market competitor feedback has been complimentary of NR’s strides blazing a trail in the industry.
